Are you thinking about writing your own book or recording your own audiobook? Curious about the self-publishing process? Check out my self-publishing & audiobook creation series (links below)!

I recently published my third self-published book and I’ve always gotten a lot of questions about how I did it. I’d love to help others do the same, so, I wrote a series of articles about the self-publishing process. They include what I did, what I learned, how long it took, and what I would do differently. Check out each article in my self-publishing series below. My most recent addition is a five-part series about publishing your own audiobook using Hindenburg Narrator.

Other Resources
I just discovered a new podcast about self-publishing that I love: The Creative Penn by Joanna Penn. She’s published well over 30 books and puts out highly relevant content on a regular basis. Definitely worth checking out. She’s also got an author blueprint if you’re just getting started, courses, and more. I’ve also been listening to Writer’s Ink, which can pack a lot of industry info into one episode.
Along the way, I got a lot of value out of articles from other self-publishing platforms like Reedsy and Scribe Media. I’d google a particular topic and more often than not, they would have an article on that subject. Just be aware that they are also trying to sell you on their platform and services.
